As the sons of owners Augusto and Jennifer Di Battista, these two Office and Yard Helpers are always lending a hand around the business—when they aren’t kicking butt on the soccer field, of course!

How long have you been working at A&J: 9 years (we started when we were 3!)

MEET AJ

Q: What’s your favorite thing/activity to do in the Napa Valley?
AJ: “I love to play soccer and I enjoy my school.”

Q: What’s the most interesting trip you’ve ever taken? When?
AJ: “I liked going to Italy this year because I played soccer and the food was good.”

Q: If you could recommend one vineyard tool or product, what would it be and why?
AJ: “I think the DRI (Deep Root Irrigation) because you can save water and fertilizer.”

Q: What do you like best about working for A&J Vineyard Supply?
AJ: “I like unloading the trucks.”

Q: What’s a work-related accomplishment that you’re really proud of?
AJ: “I’m proud of learning all the names of the materials.”

Q: What’s the best advice you were ever given in your life? Who was it from?
AJ: “Be on time for events.” From Augusto & Jennifer

Q: Who is your favorite soccer team? Who do you think is the best player of all time?
AJ: “My favorite soccer team is Manchester United. The best player of all time is Gianluigi Buffon.”

Q: What’s your favorite thing/activity to do in the Napa Valley?
Alex: “Playing soccer for Napa United.”

Q: What’s the most interesting trip you’ve ever taken? When?
Alex: “Italy 2021 because the food and soccer were amazing.”

Q: If you could recommend one vineyard tool or product, what would it be and why?
Alex: “Lopper for cutting old vines and chopping large branches.”

Q: What do you like best about working for A&J Vineyard Supply?
Alex: “Helping unload trucks by replacing and placing wood for the forklifts.”

Q: What’s a work-related accomplishment that you’re really proud of?
Alex: “How I’ve learned the tools and products better than before.”
